Agency contracting is a simple, cost effective way for businesses to legitimately engage independent contractor, outside the jurisdiction of the Industrial Relations system. Agency contracting provides a system to help you manage your business the way you need.

People enter work contracts freely and for defines periods.

a) People with skills needed by your business register with the Agency as independent contractors

b) Your business contracts with the Agency to locate and provide suitable contractors

c) You choose the contractors from the Agency's recommended list

d) Required tasks are performed by the contractors to your satisfaction

e) You pay the Agency a prearranged contracted price

f) The Agency pays the contractors and pays and administers all statuary and legal requirements including tax, Workcover, payroll tax, public liability and superannuation.

At Law

Based on High Court rulings, personnel acquired through Agency Contracting:-

• are not deemed to be employees of your business,
• are not subject to award conditions, and
• have no contractual connection whatsoever to your business.

Your in control

• Contracts can be arranged on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
• Any service you want can be delivered.
• You can alter your contract specifications to improve services.
• You can place some or all of your current workforce on the system.
• You are the client. The system responds to your needs.
